ERNAKULAM: The police will continue to collect evidence regarding Dominic Martin, the accused in the bomb explosion case that occurred on October 29 at the prayer meeting of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention Center in Kalamassery, Kerala.
Today, the investigation team will collect evidence at the location where the accused allegedly assembled the bomb and at his former rented residence.
Yesterday, the accused, Dominic Martin, explained to the investigating officers how the bomb was transported to the Convention center and how it was secretly placed.
Throughout all the interrogations conducted so far, Dominic Martin, the accused, has consistently maintained that he planned the crime alone. However, the investigation team remains skeptical of this statement. Therefore, the investigation team, including the NIA, is also looking into whether the accused had any other connections related to the bomb blast.
The court has granted police custody until November 15, 2023.
The death toll in the bomb blasts in Kalamassery, Kochi, increased to four by November 6th.
