Alappuzha: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has strongly condemned the government in the wake of the tragic suicide of Prasad, the leader of the BJP farmers’ organization in Thakazhi and the district president of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh in Alappuzha. The Governor emphasized that farmer suicides in Kuttanadu should not be viewed as isolated incidents but rather as a grave and widespread concern.
Expressing concern, the Governor highlighted that despite financial constraints, there seems to be no shortage of celebrations. He further accused the government of neglecting the severe crisis faced by farmers and pensioners alike. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, who paid his last respects to Prasad at the Medical Mission Hospital in Delhi, addressed the media, emphasizing the gravity of the situation and calling for urgent measures to address the underlying issues.
