KOZHIKODE: Actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi appeared at Nadakkavu Police Station amidst a large crowd carrying placards adorned with his pictures, expressing firm support. Suresh Gopi appeared at Nadakkavu Police Station in response to an allegation raised by a news reporter.

Thousands of individuals arrived at the police station to express solidarity with Suresh Gopi, organizing a Padha yathra (foot march).  However, the police denied the Padha Yathra, leading the crowd to raise slogans against police. Initially, the police also barred news reporters from reporting the news, sparking controversy. But immediately senior police officials intervened, and granted permission to the reporters.

The police struggled to control the crowd at the station and requested additional forces.

Today, thousands of people from various parts of Kerala gathered at Nadakkavu, holding placards adorned with Suresh Gopi’s photos. They raised slogans affirming their support, declaring ‘we stand with Suresh Gopi, we will never let him be targeted.’

BJP Kerala state president and other senior BJP leaders like K Surendran, Shobha Surendran, MT Ramesh, and PK Krishnadas also arrived at the police station.
