Thrissur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited and offered his prayers at Lord Krishna’s land, at Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple this morning. PM performed ‘thulabharam’ceremony, in which he offered lotuses equivalent to his weight. Narendra Modi also offered fruits, ghee and yellow silk cloth to the deity.
PM Narendra Modi was dressed in the traditional ‘mundu’ and white shawl on his shoulders. Union ministers and other officials accompanied the Prime Minister.
PM reached in Kochi last night and reached Thrissur by helicopter.

After addressing the ‘Abhinandan Sabha’, a public meeting , PM will be proceeded to visit Maldives and then to Sri Lanka. Abhinandan Sabha is the first ever public function of Narendra Modi after swearing in as the PM for the second term.
