Thiruvananthapuram: The tenure of Chief Minister’s social media team has been extended. The service of 12 members of the social media team has been extended for an additional year. The Information Public Relations Department issued an order in this regard yesterday. According to the order, the social media team’s term has been extended so that the activities of the Chief Minister’s social media pages and other related activities can continue without interruption. The team will get a salary of Rs 80 lakh per year.
The team consists of 12 members ranging from computer assistant to team leader. Team Leader will receive a salary of Rs 75000, while the Computer Assistant will receive Rs 22290 per month. Initially appointed for six months starting from May 2022, their term was extended for an additional year. As the extended term concludes on November 15, 2023, a government order has now been issued to further prolong their tenure to one more year.
