THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan, strongly criticized the Kerala state government for organizing the ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ amid severe financial crisis in the state.

Addressing a press meet in Thiruvananthapuram today, Muraleedharan expressed that following this Nava Kerala tour, the people of Kerala would keep the communist party to a museum. He added that that this trip will mark the end of communist rule in Kerala.

He condemned the Pinarayi government, labeling it as fascist, inhumane, and ruthless for organizing an extravagant tour while the public  are in financial distress. Muraleedharan asserted that the tour highlights the government’s dictatorial tendencies.

He questioned harshly, asking how the government, unable to provide Rs 1,200 for social welfare pension, manages to allocate one and a half crores rupees for the tour, questioning the source of these funds.

Notably, thousands of policemen have been deployed at the Kasaragod guesthouse for tour security. Muraleedharan criticized the government’s lack of sincere efforts in finding solutions to the common people’s problems.
