Sannidhanam: The holy shrine of Sabarimala will be opened today at 5 pm for ‘prathishtadina pooja’. There will not be any special poojas today. Prathidhtadinam will be observed tomorrow.
The doors of the temple will again be opened on June 15 for Midhuna masa poojas. Head priest V N Vasudevan Namboothiri, in the presence of chief priest Kandararu Rajeevaru, will light the lamp in the sanctum sanctorium in the evening. Prasads will be distributed after the pooja.
On 16th June, the temple will be opened in the morning and all usual poojas as well as ghee anoint will be held. Udayasthamana pooja, padipooja and kalabhabhishekam will be performed in all these five days and after completing all rituals, the doors of the hilltop shrine will be closed at 10 pm on 20 June.
