Kollam: RB Shajith and Smitha M. Babu won a lot of praise for drawing the sketch of the accused Padmakumar, who was arrested in the child abduction case in Oyoor. The sketch is praised for its fine resemblance to the accused. But Shajith, one of the persons who drew the sketch thinks it is the amazing memory of the kid who was kidnapped that should be praised .
Shajith ‘s social media post appreciating the child is gaining attention. Smitha, who made the sketch of the accused, mentioned that the little girl of the first grade deserves a lot of praise for providing a clear description of the accused, even after going through a tough situation. Many people have commended both of them.

ACP Pradeep sir’s call came at midnight, when a six-year-old girl was kidnapped in Kollam Oyoor. Initially, two eyewitnesses provided descriptions for us to draw a sketch of the suspect. We finished the sketches based on their details and handed them to the police by 4 am. Later, after the child was found, we created three more sketches at Kollam Victoria Hospital, based on her descriptions. I’m glad to learn that our sketches played a role in helping the police with a quick and effective investigation. Thanks to everyone who supported us, including police officers, the media, Prakash Kala Kendram, Vinod Response and other friends. Abigail Sara Reji was kidnapped on Monday while on her way to tuition class. She was accompanied by her brother. While Abigail was taken away in a white car, her brother sustained minor injuries in trying to escape from the abductors. After almost 20 hours of the girl going missing, she was found abandoned by the kidnappers at Asramam Maidanam, in Kollam.
