Thiruvananthapuram: Following the BJP’s resounding victory in three out of four states in the assembly elections, Tourism Minister Mohammed Riyas has provided valuable advice to the Congress in the wake of their defeat. Highlighting the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s populist policies and development initiatives, the BJP has strengthened its dominance across key states.

Minister Riyas emphasized that the Congress, even in ruling states, is struggling to contend with the BJP’s rising dominance. He went on to express concern about Congress members seemingly aligning with the BJP as undercover agents, identifying this as a key factor contributing to their electoral setbacks.

Highlighting the situation in Kerala, Minister Riyas lamented the Congress’s attempts to undermine the CPI(M), which stands in opposition to the BJP. He described this as a regressive step and urged the Congress to learn from the defeat, emphasizing the importance of moving forward.

Minister Riyas advised the Congress to put an end to internal conflicts and adopt a more secular stance to better position itself politically. Simultaneously, the CPI(M) faced setbacks, losing previously held seats in a closely contested battle during the Rajasthan assembly elections.
