Mumbai: An FIR has been registered against Binoy Vinodini Kodiyeri, son of CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan at Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. The complainant, a native of Bihar, has alleged that Binoy promised to marry her and assaulted her for almost nine years. The woman was working as a bar dancer in Dubai.
The complainant accuses that Binoy Kodiyeri had been in relation with her from 2009 and had repeatedly promised her to marry and they have an eight year old boy in this relation. The thirty three year old woman complains as Binoy was a frequent visitor of the dance bar. She discovered late in 2018 that Binoy Kodiyeri was already married and has two kids.
The case has been filed under IPC sections 376 and 376(2)(n)(rape), 420(cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property),504(intentional insult) and 506(criminal intimidation). Police informed that the inquiry and proceedings are underway.
