KOZHIKODE: While inaugurating the Kozhikode District School Kalolsavam, Kerala Assembly Speaker AN Shamseer became visibly upset and left the stage.
It is reported that Shamseer, experiencing intolerance, halted his speech midway and departed after expressing displeasure at the teachers conversing amongst themselves.
Before leaving the stage, he scolded the teachersthrough the microphone on stage, ‘While students are attentively listening to the speech, the teachers are engaged in conversation and not paying attention. Therefore, I hereby declare the inauguration of the Kozhikode District School Kalolsavam and will be departing.’ With this announcement, Shamseer stopped his speech and left the stage.
