BKS to conduct “Farmer Rights Declaration Rally” to find solutions for the crisis in Kerala agriculture sector

Bharatheeya Kisan Sangh (BKS) in Kerala is organizing “Farmer Rights Declaration Rally” in Thiruvananthapuram on 15th December, 2023 .

BKS All India General Secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra will inaugurate the rally which will start from Palayam Raktasakshi Mandapam on 15th at 10.30 am. State President Dr. Anil Vaidyamangalam will preside over the function.

While speaking to the media about the upcoming rally, Dr. Anil Vaidyamangalam highlighted the urgent need to help the farmers in Kerala who are going through hardships due to lack of money even for their basic needs. He expressed his concerns on farmers losing their lives due to not receiving any financial aid from the state government.

Dr. Anil Vaidyamangalam said that this rally will expose the actual situation the farmers in the state are facing. He is optimistic about helping the farmers out of the dire situation they are in, through adopting a different approach, than that of the state government.

Tens of thousands of farmers from 14 districts of Kerala will participate in the ‘Farmers’ Rights Declaration Rally’, which will conclude at Gandhi Park in East Fort.

At the concluding conference which will be held at Gandhi Park, State President Dr. Anil Vaidyamangalam will present a comprehensive document on “Kerala Alternative Agriculture Policy” to save Kerala’s agricultural sector from the crisis. 100 demands which need to be solved urgently in the agriculture sector of Kerala will be raised before the central and state governments.

National General Secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra, National Vice President T. Perumal, State General Secretary E. Narayanankutty, State Organization Secretary, P. Muraleedharan and Rally General Convener Adv. K. Mohan Kumar will also speak during the occasion.
