Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is experiencing heavy rainfall, with forecasts predicting continuous downpours today and tomorrow. An orange alert has been issued for four districts, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki tomorrow.
Today, seven districts are under a rain warning, namely Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam. The heavy rain is attributed to a cyclonic circulation over the south-west Bay of Bengal. As a precautionary measure, a ban on fishing has been imposed along the Kerala coast and in the Lakshadweep for tomorrow and the following day.
