Mumbai: While Binoy Kodiyeri, son of CPI(M) State Secretary’s son, denies that he has no relation with the woman who has filed a complaint in a Mumbai police station, the passport belonging to the woman claims that her husband is Binoy himself.

The woman had given her passport as an evidence to the Mumbai police. The passport shows that the name of her husband as Binoy Vinodini Balakrishnan. The woman had renewed her passport in 2014.

Her passport had lapsed in 2004. It was when she renewed her passport that she had made the changes and added Binoy’s name as her husband. Her second name is also changed to Binoy.

In addition to the passport, the woman has given her bank details where her husband’s name is given as Binoy Vinodini Balakrishnan. Both these evidences proves that Binoy had close relation with the woman.

The woman alleges that she met Binoy in a dance bar where she was working as a dancer. Binoy took her to Mumbai and arranged an apartment for her and sexually exploited her on the promise of marriage. They also had a son from the relation.

The woman explains that she was unaware of that Binoy had married in the meantime. When he refused to meet the expenses of the woman and their son, she decided to complain. Her inquiries about Binoy revealed that he was married and living with his new wife.

She filed a complaint in a Mumbai police station against Binoy for sexually exploiting her.

Meanwhile, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the all powerful Secretary of CPI(M), said that he would not shield his son in the case. However, it is seen as a ploy to save him and the party from further embarrassment.

Though he claims he was not aware about his son’s illegal affair, the woman’s relatives are saying that they had first submitted the complaint to the top leadership of the CPI(M). It is unbelievable that Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had not knowledge about the issue considering his position in the party.
