Kozhikode: Reiterating that SFI workers are not students but goons and criminals, Governor Arif Mohammed Khan told the media in Kozhikode, yesterday, that he does not need police protection and is ready to face anything. He said that he was in Kozhikode city for two hours yesterday but could not meet even one SFI man. The Governor said that he will still be seen in the crowd.
“Today I spent about two hours in Kozhikode city. There are few hundred criminals in SFI, why not even one protested. Are only SFI workers students here? No one else is a student? I am not afraid of anyone. What I received is love from people. Thanks to the people of Kozhikode city”, the Governor said.
The Governor reached Mittai Theruvu, Kozhikode yesterday afternoon and walked along with the people. He talked with the traders and ate from shops. Taking on the challenge posed by SFI activists, who had threatened to block the Governor if he set foot in university campuses, he confidently took to the streets without requiring any security. He also attended a seminar hosted at Calicut University by Sanathana Dharma Chair and Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram.
