Presently, there are 2,606 active cases within the state. The country has reported 328 new cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total active cases in the nation to 2,997.
The Ministry of Health issued a cautionary alert due to the increasing number of COVID-19 patients in the nation. The Union Health Ministry directed states to intensify checks and furnish district-level data on respiratory infections and flu to the central government. The Central Health Department has announced plans for additional measures in anticipation of further spread in the upcoming days. The central government has strongly advised citizens to wear masks and uphold social distancing protocols while going outside.
