Kollam: SFI (Students’ Federation of India) activists carried out an attack on ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) activists at Baby John Memorial College, Chavara, Kollam, yesterday. During the incident, ABVP activists Indrajith and Arun were assaulted by SFI activists.
The injured ABVP members received initial treatment at a private hospital in Chavara and were later transferred to the district hospital.
A similar of act of violence also occurred against ABVP activist yesterday morning at Vivekananda College, Kunnamkulam, Thrissur, where an SFI group brutally attacked a first-year graduate student, Sridev. The assaults reportedly involved the cooperation of the SFI unit’s secretary and president. The injured Sridev is currently receiving treatment at Malankara Hospital.
