Mumbai: The Mumbai Police has said that Binoy Kodiyeri, son of CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, will be arrested if the court fails to grant him anticipatory bail. The court will decide on the matter tomorrow.
DCP Manjunath of Mumbai police said that a DNA test on Binoy is necessary as the evidences against him are strong. The DCP also said that the investigators are closing all possible escape routes of the accused because the police is aware of his political influence.
The investigator believe that Biony is still hiding in Kerala and if bail is not granted then there is a possibility that he might flee the country. The police have already passed on the details of his passport to every airport in the country.
The police will also take the complainant in front of a Magistrate soon considering the seriousness of the case. The woman had filed a complaint in a Mumbai police that Binoy had sexually exploited her on the promise of marriage. They have a son of 8 eight years from their relation.
Reports say that the woman has submitted credible evidences which shows that Binoy Kodiyeri is indeed the father of her child. But investigators need to have a DNA test to settle the case once and for all.
