Pathanamthitta: After a month-long hiatus, the Robin Bus has resumed its service. The bus embarked on its journey from Pathanamthitta today at 5 a.m. . There were 13 pre-booked passengers on board at the beginning of its journey. An additional 41 individuals had booked their seats for the journey from Pathanamthitta to Coimbatore, with the expectation that more passengers would join during the trip.
However, the service faced a temporary halt when officials from the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) intercepted the bus near Mylapra, Pathanamthitta. A team of three assistant motor vehicle inspectors conducted a thorough inspection for more than 20 minutes. The bus was eventually given the green light to continue its journey after the inspection.
The owner of Robin Bus expressed confidence that the MVD’s intervention would not impede their operations, stating that all passengers had pre-booked their seats. The owner reassured the public, mentioning the likelihood of more buses returning to service in a similar manner.
