Ernakulam: A Students’ Federation of India (SFI) leader insulted Mahatma Gandhi. Adeen Nassar, a member of the SFI Aluva area committee, placed a cooling glass on the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and took pictures. He also holds the position of union leader at the Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies in Choondy.
Fellow students have expressed their discontent, emphasising that such actions by the SFI leader should be legally questioned. Adding to the controversy, it has been revealed that Adeen Nassar is the son of a public prosecutor. The incident was captured on video by the people with him. The SFI district leadership said that they would respond after investigating the incident.
