Thiruvananthapuram: Candidates filed complaints in Nava Kerala Sadas to speed up CPO appointment. Complaints that should have gone to the Home Department went to Life Mission. When the candidates who got the message that their complaints have been received called the labor office, the officials could not give a clear answer.
The complaint given by the candidates of the civil police rank list to the Nava Kerala Sadas, demanding speedy PSC appointments in the police were forwarded to the Life Mission, Labor Department and Military Welfare Department. These complaints should have actually gone to the Home department or the Public Administration Department. This came to light when a candidate called the concerned departments to know the progress of the complaint, but the departments did not even have the information of receiving any complaint.
The police appointment list for seven battalions is set to expire in just three months. The Civil Police Rank Holders Association filed complaints from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram in the Nava Kerala Sadas, demanding quick reporting of vacancies and the immediate appointment of the remaining candidates on the list.
After the murder of Dr. Vandana Das in Kottarakkara, it was decided to create a new post to start an aid post in hospitals. Complaints highlighting this decision went to the health department. In Kannur, the complaints filed requesting medical assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund were forwarded to the Kannur Municipal Corporation. Candidates who got tired of frequent visits to the offices were the ones who approached the Nava Kerala Sadas as a refuge.
