Thrissur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President, K Surendran, announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Thrissur for the Sthree Shakti Sangamam will include meetings with prominent figures from social and communal organizations. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) granted permission for these interactions in response to requests from various organizations in the state.
This marks the first occurrence of such a program in the state, emphasized K Surendran, mentioning the Sthree Shakti Sangamam. This main event, where the Prime Minister is set to address a gathering of two lakh women, will take place at Thekkinkadu Maidan at 2 pm. K Surendran emphasized that the program is exclusively for women, with no participation from men within the venue.
The Prime Minister’s arrival in Thrissur, scheduled for 2 pm, will be facilitated by a helicopter landing at Kuttanellur. Thrissur District Collector VR Krishna Teja will receive PM Modi, who will then proceed to Thrissur city by car. A road show is planned from the district hospital premises at Swaraj Round, spanning one and a half kilometers until Naikanal.
