Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts continuous rain across Kerala in the coming days. Anticipating cyclonic circulation, isolated areas may experience heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Idukki and Malappuram districts are under a yellow alert today, with a heightened probability of heavy rain, particularly in hilly regions, as per the Meteorological Department.
No rain warnings have been declared for any district on Tuesday. However, IMD has issued a caution to residents living along the coastlines and in the hilly areas, considering the likelihood of heavy rainfall on Wednesday. On January 10, a yellow alert is issued for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki districts.
