Thiruvananthapuram: The Timber Depot at Kulathupuzha, operated by the Thiruvananthapuram Timber Sales Division of Kerala State Forest and Wildlife Department, has initiated the retail sale of teak timber for domestic construction purposes.
According to a press release from the Thiruvananthapuram Forest Officer, the retail sale of teak timber for domestic use will commence on January 25, 2024.
The press release specifies that individuals with an approved plan copy, permit, and sketch for residential buildings are eligible to purchase teak timber directly, with a limit of up to 5 cubic meters. Additionally, it is mentioned that individuals need to submit their PAN card for identity verification.
Interested buyers can visit the Kulathupuzha Timber Depot office during office hours on all working days starting from January 25
