Thiruvananthapuram: LDF Convenor EP Jayarajan has come out in support of Veena Vijayan, dismissing the Bengaluru Registrar of Companies (ROC) report against Exalogic. Jayarajan questioned the media, asking if a girl should not be allowed to live, while accusing them of attempting to ruin Veena’s life based on the ROC report.
Jayarajan emphasized that the ROC report is not a court verdict and insisted that it is up to the court to determine Veena’s guilt. Highlighting that Veena Vijayan has been subjected to prolonged attacks, Jayarajan defended her as a talented individual in the IT field who ventured into entrepreneurship. He questioned whether the current approach aims to prevent her from leading a normal life. Jayarajan framed the attacks on Veena as an assault on femininity.
“We must be mindful that this is an attack on femininity. You should tell what mistake she has committed. If wrongdoings are found, let the appropriate authorities investigate and take necessary actions,” he said.
Additionally, the ROC report revealed the alleged involvement of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the Exalogic-CMRL deal. The ROC reports indicates that the Chief Minister exercises direct control over Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), which which holds a 13.4% stake in CMRL, thereby exerting indirect influence over CMRL.
