Pathanamthitta: Robin Bus owner said that the bus will start its journey from Pathanamthitta at 4 a.m., from February 1 onwards. This decision was made after considering the timing of the current KSRTC bus service to Coimbatore, which starts from Pathanamthitta at 4:30 a.m.
Robin Bus is also planning to extend its services to Adoor. The bus is scheduled to leave Adoor at 3:30 am, making its way to Coimbatore through Ranni, Erumeli, Thrissur, and Palakkad. The return journey from Coimbatore is set for 6 p.m., reaching Adoor at 1 a.m.
The owner of Robin Bus has clarified that their intention is not to compete with KSRTC but rather to address the needs of passengers. Many KSRTC buses travelling to Coimbatore are reportedly in a state of disrepair, and the government has been reluctant to replace them with new buses.
This situation has led to difficulties for passengers. In response to this, Robin Bus has decided to initiate the early morning service to Coimbatore as a solution, aiming to provide a reliable and timely alternative for commuters.
