Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan called the Prana Pratishtha in Ayodhya as the moment of pride for Bharat. He also said Ayodhya is a part of Bharat’s culture. The Governor was addressing the devotees who had gathered in Vazhuthakkad Ramadevi Temple for pujas and celebrations that were being conducted in connection with the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony in Ayodhya. He joined the ‘Deeparadhana’ (aarti) in the temple with total devotion and watched the live telecast of Pran Pratishtha Ceremony along with the devotees.
Many eminent personalities from social and cultural fields including ISRO Ex-Chairman G Madhavan Nair, Akhil Bharatiya Dharm Jagaran Samyoj Anil Kant, RSS senior Pracharaks S Sethumadhavan and A Jayakumar, Hindu Aikya Vedi State Organization Secretary C Babu Kuttan, RSS Prantha Sampark Pramukh M Jayakumar, Producer G Suresh Kumar, Soorya Krishnamoorthy, K Omanakutty and many others were present along with Governor Arif Mohammed Khan during the puja and celebration held at Remadevi Temple in Vazhuthakkad.
The idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled on January 22, 2024 at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the sacred rituals. Pandit Lakshmi Kant Dixit led the puja and other ceremonies under the supervision of Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Kashi.
People of Bharat watched the auspicious Pran Pratishtha Ceremony performed during the ‘Abhijit’ muhurta, lasting 84 seconds with deep sense of devotion and pride. Celebrations were held in various places of the state in connection with Ayodhya Prana Pratishtha.
