Thiruvananthapuram: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Kerala Padayathra, led by the Kerala state BJP president K Surendran, will commence on January 27 from Kasaragod. BJP National President JP Nadda will inaugurate the Kerala Padayathra programme at Thalipadappu Maidanam, Kasaragod, at 3 pm.
After visiting Madhur Temple in Kasargod in morning, K Surendran will initiate the programmes in the district. The first day’s Padayathra programme will end at Melparamba.
On the second day, January 28th, K. Surendran will participate in a meeting with the beneficiaries of various central government schemes, to be held at Kumbla, Kasaragod district at 10:30 am. He will also address the Sneha Sangam programme of religious, communal, and cultural leaders of Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency at Jeevas Manasa Auditorium at 2 pm.
The Padayathra will take place in Kannur on the 29th, Wayanad on the 30th, and Vadakara on the 31st of January. It will continue from February 3rd to 7th in Attingal, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, and Mavelikkara constituencies. Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Thiruvananthapuram constituencies will be covered from February 9th to 12th. February 14th in Idukki and February 15th in Chalakkudy. February 19th to 21st will cover Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Alathur constituencies. The Kerala Padayathra will be held on the 23rd in Ponnani, 24th in Ernakulam, and 26th in Thrissur, concluding in Palakkad on the 27th.
It is informed that the Kerala Padayathra will be inaugurated by various Union Ministers and Central leaders every day. Following the inauguration, the central government’s various projects and schemes will be discussed.
Around 25,000 people will participate in the Kerala Padayathra in each parliamentary constituency, including individuals who have made their mark in various sectors of society. A minimum of 1000 new members will join the BJP party from each constituency. State President K Surendran will address the media each day.
The Kerala Padayatra will provide the people of Kerala an opportunity to become a member of the central government’s development and welfare schemes. Dedicated help desks will be available for that purpose.
Various programmes implemented by the central government will be displayed during the NDA’s Kerala Padayatra. Still images of various schemes implemented by the central government will also be showcased during the Padayatra.
