Thiruvananthapuram: After a steady in gold price for a four-day period, the price of gold has witnessed a decline today, registering a minimum decrease of Rs 80 per sovereign. As of now, the market rate for one sovereign of gold stands at Rs 46,160. For 22-carat gold, the current market rate is Rs 5,770 per gram, while 18-carat gold is priced at Rs 4,770 per gram.
Meanwhile, the silver price in the state has remained unchanged. The market value of common silver is Rs 77 per gram, with no alterations in the price of Hallmark silver, which continues to be traded at Rs 103 per gram.
