Thiruvananthapuram: Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan, stated that Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan did not read the policy address because there was no standard in the content. Union Minister Muraleedharan made these comments to the media in Thiruvananthapuram. Today, on January 25, Arif Mohammed Khan concluded his policy address in just around two minutes, marking the shortest policy address in the Kerala Legislative Assembly.
Muraleedharan also pointed out that Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and other members of the assembly are using the Kerala Legislative Assembly as a platform to spread negative propaganda against the Central government.
He continued to say that the Governor must have understood the misuse of the assembly hall for propagating fake information against the Union government, and that’s likely the reason for shortening his policy address. V Muraleedharan mentioned that, in this incident, people of Kerala are congratulating Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.
Muraleedharan further stated that Kerala had received central allocations for social welfare pension and UGC grants, but the state government is not using the allocated funds for their intended purposes and instead blaming the Central government. He added that the Kerala government is more focused on extravagant campaign programs.
