Thrissur: Hindu Aikyavedi slammed CPI leader and Thrissur MLA P Balachandran for insulting Hindu God Lord Sri Rama and the epic Ramayana. P Sudhakaran, the Kerala state General Secretary of Hindu Aikyavedi, demanded that CPI MLA P Balachandran resign from his MLA position and apologize to the Hindu community for his anti-Hindu remarks on Facebook.
The General Secretary of Hindu Aikyavedi added that the MLA has breached his oath to treat all religions equally. He stated that insulting Hindu believers is a strategy of the left wing to appease religious extremists and vote-banking strategy in Kerala. P Sudhakaran then questioned whether P. Balachandran, as a communist party activist, has the courage to insult the gods of other religions.
P Sudhakaran emphasized that the Hindu community must recognize the double standard of communist political leaders who preach secularism while insulting Hindu beliefs, attempting to eradicate Sanatana Dharma and Hindu faith. Hindu believers must understand the biased and double standards of left-wing political leaders.
He mentioned that Hindu Aikyavedi will approach the court to take legal action against the Thrissur MLA for his hateful remarks. Additionally, Hindu Aikyavedi will organize a strong protest against the CPI leader.
P Sudhakaran also stated that Hindu Aikyavedi will continue the protest until P Balachandran resigns from his MLA position.
