Palakkad: A police team, comprising 14 members, that had become stranded in the forest during an operation to eradicate a large-scale cannabis plantation has safely returned. The Thunderbolt and rescue teams successfully located and rescued the stranded officers after 12 hours.
Yesterday morning, Agali DySP Jayakrishnan led the 14-member team into the forest based on information about a significant illegal cannabis plantation. However, as they completed their mission of destroying the illicit cultivation, night fell, and the team lost their way. The Thunderbolt and rescue teams initiated a search and located the stranded police officers.
Following the rescue, the Thunderbolt and rescue teams provided the officers with essential supplies, including water and food. The entire police team was safely brought back to the police station the following morning,
