Alappuzha: Four persons have been arrested in the case of spreading offensive posts against the court proceedings and against the judge who sentenced the accused to death in BJP’s OBC Morcha state secretary Ranjith Sreenivasan murder case. Naseer Mon, a native of Mannancherry, Rafi, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, Nawaz, a native of Alappuzha, and Shajahan, a native of Ambalapuzha, were the four people arrested.
The police have informed that strict action will be taken if offensive posts are posted on social media regarding the verdict in the Ranjit Sreenivasan murder case. It has been conveyed that the cyber police has intensified the investigation against this and are closely monitoring the situation. District Police Chief Chaitra Teresa John said that decisive action will be taken if instances of derogatory posts are noticed.
