New Delhi: In a press conference held in Delhi, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar strongly criticized both Pinarayi Vijayan and the Congress party over the monthly payment controversy. Chandrasekhar asserted that the CPI(M) and Congress in Kerala are essentially two sides of the same coin. He emphasized the need for unraveling the mystery surrounding the SFIO investigation against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter, Veena Vijayan, in connection with the monthly payment controversy.
The minister stated that the ongoing developments have substantiated the claim that CPI(M) and Congress in Kerala share common ground. Chandrasekhar called for Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to provide clarification on the allegations against Veena Vijayan regarding service tax. Additionally, he urged the Chief Minister to address questions about whether Veena Vijayan’s company is receiving funds and fees from other business entities, and whether any corruption is involved in these transactions.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar pointed out that both Congress and CPI(M) are parties associated with corruption, attacks, murders, and threats. He asserted that there is no discernible difference between the two fronts, highlighting their equal involvement in nepotism, corruption, and appeasement politics.
