These posts emphasise that the incident involving Thanneer Komban is not an isolated case but reflects a broader pattern of negligence. Some posts on social media suggest that Thanneer Komban was not a victim of natural causes but was deliberately killed by the Kerala Forest Department.
Thanneer Komban, the elephant that had instilled fear in Mananthavady town, died on Saturday morning after being tranquilized and relocated to Bandipur forest in Karnataka.
