Pathanamthitta: Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan, has expressed his condolences on the passing of PG Sasikumar Varma, former chairman of the Pandalam Palace Executive Committee and a member of the royal family. He expressed his condolences on Facebook.
“The Hindu community will always remember his firm stand for the preservation of the Sabarimala traditions. His presence was always an inspiration to the devotees. Commemorating his contributions in the field of spirituality. Sharing the grief of the relatives,” the Union Minister wrote on Facebook.
Sasikumar Varma’s mortal remains were kept for public viewing at the Raja Rajasekhara Annadhana Mandapam near Pandalam. Several senior leaders, including BJP State President K Surendran, paid their last respects.
