Wayanad: Wild animals are continuing to pose a threat to residents in Wayanad. A young man narrowly escaped a tiger attack while going home on his two-wheeler at night. Despite facing death, the man, identified as Aneesh, miraculously escaped from the tiger.
The incident occurred in Pulpally, Wayanad. Aneesh, feeling unwell after the incident, was hospitalized. Earlier, a tiger had attacked and killed a cow near the same area.
This incident adds to the heightened tensions surrounding human-wildlife conflicts prevalent in Wayanad. Over the past three months, the region has witnessed three deaths from wildlife attacks. Wayanad MP Rahul visited the constituency recently amid protests against these attacks.
