Pathanamthitta: Another incident of a wild animal attack has occurred in Kerala. On Sunday evening, a wild elephant attacked a family of forest dwellers in Moozhiyar, Pathanamthitta, as they returned home after collecting honey from the forest.
Moozhiyar resident Sajith and his family were travelling on a two-wheeler when the elephant attacked. Sajith, along with his mother Anitha and father Sukumaran, suffered injuries in the attack by a single tusker.
This incident underscores the ongoing challenges posed by human-wildlife conflicts in certain areas of the state, highlighting the need for efforts to ensure the safety of residents living near forest regions.
