Palakkad: Family filed a complaint against CPI(M) Local Secretary in Palakkad. It is reported that, under the leadership of the Palakkad CPI(M) Local Secretary, a family in Palakkad has been banned from entering temples and attending public functions.
The family from Kodumba, Vakkilpadam, faced a community ban led by CPI(M) Local Secretary Kaladharan. The family members, including the CPI(M) Branch Secretary and his son, were restricted from participating in public events and temple ceremonies in the region.
Subsequently, the family filed a complaint with the Palakkad District Police Chief and the CPI(M) party leadership. According to the complaint, they were also instructed to pay a penalty of Rs 1 lakh to lift the ban against the family.
