Kozhikode: INC leader K Muraleedharan said that the problems between Muslim League and Congress have been resolved. He mentioned that according to what he understood, the issues of Congress had with the League over seat allocation has been resolved and that the Congress was ready to make any compromise to keep the League together. K Muraleedharan also said that it was his father K Karunakaran who made the Congress-League alliance. He made these remarks during a media interaction in Kozhikode.
During the discussion held yesterday, an agreement was reached on the division of seats between the League and Congress. Although the League did not openly discuss the outcome of the discussion, KPCC president K Sudhakaran stated that the Rajya Sabha seat has been offered to the League. If the League accepts the Congress’s offer, either KPA Majeed or PMA Salam will represent in the Rajya Sabha. The League is expected to announce its final decision after tomorrow’s league meeting.
