Ernakulam: Sabu M Jacob, Chief Coordinator of the political party Twenty20 and a prominent industrialist, has openly challenged Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to arrest him in response to police complaints filed against him by CPI(M)’s Kunnathunad MLA PV Sreenijan.
A police case is pertaining against Twenty20 chief coordinator Sabu M Jacob for allegedly making insulting remarks about Kunnathunad MLA and CPM leader PV Sreenijin. Sabu has been booked for offences under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The Puthencruz police summoned Sabu for questioning on February 21st, indicating the possibility of his arrest. In response to these incidents, Sabu reiterated his stance against those targeting him during an event.
In a bold statement, Sabu M Jacob dared the Chief Minister to arrest him, asserting that he would ensure the Chief Minister’s daughter faces similar consequences within a week. He claimed to possess evidence against the Chief Minister’s daughter likening it to an “atom bomb,” hinting at potentially explosive revelations.
Sabu made these remarks during a mega event organized by Twenty20 in Kizhakkambalam on Sunday. He also issued a stern warning to the MLA and CPI(M) workers targeting him, cautioning them against engaging in any confrontation, as he claims to have a comprehensive understanding of the Chief Minister’s affairs.
