Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister’s statement that there was no problem in the University College stabbing incident and PSC exam issue has come under severe criticism from the Opposition leader, Ramesh Chennithala.
Ramesh Chennithala accused the Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, of trying to sabotage the investigations currently underway into both the incidents. He also said that the Chief Minister was trying to justify the incident in which University exam papers were found in the possession of SFI leaders and at the party offices.
When the party is involved in influencing the exam results of SFI leaders, the Chief Minister is busy white washing the crime.
Moreover, the Chief Minister’s statement is a veiled message to the Crime Branch officials to stop their investigation into the stabbing of a student in the University College campus.
The Opposition leader also accused the government for not properly investigating the suicide bid by a University College student. If it had then the stabbing incident could have avoided and the exam scam would have been exposed much earlier.
He blamed the communist government for allowing these kinds of criminal activities to flourish at the University College and also blamed them for giving goons a free reign in the campus.
Ramesh Chennithala said that instead of bringing those who committed the crimes to justice, the Chief Minister is blaming the media.
The stabbing incident in the University College, which is dominated by the SFI, has exposed the depth of criminal activities conducted by the communist party. The SFI leaders involved in the attack are included in the police constable rank list. This raises serious questions about the credibility of the PSC exam which selects the candidates to be inducted to the Police Department.
Moreover, answer sheets of Kerala University was found in the possession of SFI leaders. All these points to a dangerous precinct existing in public institutions dominated by the communist ideology.
