Thiruvananthapuram: The distribution of rations for the month of February in Kerala has been extended till tomorrow, March 1st, as announced by Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, GR Anil. This extension comes in light of disruptions in ration distribution over the past few days.
Ration distribution faced obstacles due to a defect in the Aadhaar server, impacting the smooth functioning of the distribution system. Additionally, a fault in the e-PoS (electronic Point of Sale) machines further complicated the situation, leading to a temporary halt in ration distribution. In light of these challenges, authorities have taken the step of extending the distribution period till tomorrow.
