Thiruvananthapuram: Janam TV Thiruvananthapuram bureau staff reporter bags this year’s Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Study Center’s ‘Nari Puraskar’ award. S Shalini of Janam TV will receive this award on the occasion of celebrating International Women’s Day. ‘Nari Puraskar’ award is given to women talents who have made a mark by doing excellent work in various fields.
Poovachal Sudhir, Director of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Study Center, informed in a press release that Minister J Chinchurani will distribute ‘Nari Puraskar’ awards of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Study Center at the women’s day celebration which will be inaugurated by Minister V Sivankutty at Nandavanam Prof. N Krishnapilla Memorial Hall, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 10 am.
Salini Salu who is now working as Bureau staff reporter for Janam TV, hails from Pattazhi, Pathanapuram, Kollam district. She has worked with two other media houses before joining Janam TV in 2016 as Sub-Editor.
