Thiruvananthapuram: Union Minister V Muraleedharan lashed out at SFI over the death of Siddharth, a second-year student of Pookode Veterinary College, Wayanad. He stated that Siddharth’s death resulted from mental stress following brutal beatings by SFI workers. He strongly criticized SFI and CPI(M) for attempting to hide the truth about the death.
V. Muraleedharan said that Siddharth had been brutally beaten up by a group led by the SFI Union Chairman. He stated that CPI(M) was now trying to cover up the death. He emphasized that we do not want anyone to end up like TP Chandrasekaran. Furthermore, he mentioned that once again, CPI(M) had implemented their agenda through Siddharth, with the government’s support. He insisted that those who had killed Siddharth should be brought before the law and given the punishment they deserved.
Muraleedharan further stated that the Chief Minister’s concern was about civet cats urinating and ironed clothes getting damaged. He mentioned that they knew with whom civet cats befriend. Furthermore, he stated that the Chief Minister was turning a blind eye to the tragic incident in Kerala. He expressed disbelief at the news that a student had been brutally beaten up in the college hostel and no one had noticed it. He concluded that it should be understood from this that the hostel authorities and the college authorities connived in the nefarious actions of the SFI workers. He added that a case should be filed against them too.
