Thiruvananthapuram: During a ‘Mukhamukham’ programme, the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan became angry at a compliment from the anchor. When the anchor thanked the Chief Minister for delivering a speech, the Chief Minister retorted sharply, stating, “There is no need for those kinds of comments. If you want to call the next person, do so.”
This incident unfolded at the Sankaranarayanan Thampi Hall in the Assembly, where the Chief Minister had spoken for an hour. Following this, the anchor immediately welcomed Revenue Minister K Rajan, who attended as the chief guest.
This is not the first time such an incident has occurred during a ‘Mukhamukham’ programme involving the Chief Minister. There were various instances where the Chief Minister expressed displeasure when others asked about problems within the government. Earlier, during a session of the ‘Mukhamukham’, the chief minister got angry when lyricist Shibu Chakravarthy criticised the government.
