Kozhikode: Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama Secretary Mukkam Umar Faizi said that the Pinarayi government is providing protection to Muslims in all ways. Faizi stated that the Pinarayi government has spent time solving all the problems faced by Muslims.
Mukkam Umar Faizi lauded the efforts of the Pinarayi government in ensuring comprehensive protection for the Muslim community. He emphasized that the government has been consistently addressing the needs and concerns of Muslims, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding their rights and interests.
Mukkam Umar Faizi made this statement amidst criticisms faced by the Pinarayi government from various corner, accusing it of bias towards Muslim community leaders in Kerala.
Umar Faizi praised the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, while attending a programme named ‘Insaf’ organized by the Kerala State Minorities Department. Umar Faizi also thanked Pinarayi Vijayan for organizing such a programme exclusively for Muslims.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, the Kerala State Home Department manipulated a report submitted by Kottayam SP K Karthik regarding the handing over of Erattupetta Police Station’s property to the Revenue Department. The SP’s report mentioned several terrorism issues connected to Erattupetta.
However, when radical Islamists came forward against the SP’s report, the State Home Department made corrections to favor them.
