Kochi: A clash broke out between SFI-KSU activists in KUSAT. Four KSU workers injured in the incident and took to a private hospital. KSU activists Unais, Ansar, Jagat and Sumin were injured.
The cause of the clash was related to the selection of hostel office bearers of B.Tech students. KSU activists alleged that SFI activists attacked them with deadly weapons.
Following the incident, the university’s School of Engineering will remain closed until next Wednesday, authorities said. Police have registered a case against 15 persons in the non-bailable section.
