Thiruvananthapuram: Residents in Kerala continue to experience scorching heat with no relief in sight. A yellow alert has been issued in eight districts today as temperatures are expected to soar. The India Meteorological Department has warned of rising temperatures in Palakkad, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur, Kottayam, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Kasaragod districts.
According to the latest forecasts, temperatures may soar up to 38 degrees Celsius in Palakkad, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts, while reaching 37 degrees Celsius in Thrissur and 36 degrees Celsius in Kottayam, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Kasaragod districts. Residents are advised to take the necessary precautions to beat the heat and stay hydrated during this period of intense warmth.
