Kochi: Samastha leader Abdul Hameed Faizy Ambalakadavu said that children should be educated in institutions that give priority to religion and religious rules. Ambalakadavu mentioned this in a Facebook post.
He asks Muslim parents to put aside institutions that attract children to liberal thoughts and anti-religious practices. According to the Samastha leader, religious institutions with teachers and management who are fully committed to Sunni ideals and have loyalty and respect for the Muslim religious community and its leaders should be chosen for their children.
From Abdul Hameed Faizy Ambalakadavu’s Facebook post …
All that glitters is not gold.
The new academic year is about to begin. Religious colleges and secular colleges are going to start together. Where we educate our children is very important. There are various institutions for children from LKG to PG.
Various institutes with variety courses are operating in the religious sector for students passing 7th grade and 10th grade. It is not the name or fame of the institution and the course what we should consider.
We should choose the institutions where we would get the following:
1. Institutions that give priority to our religion and religious rules.
2. Institutions that have exemplary teachers.
3. Institutions that do not lead children to liberal thoughts and anti-religious practices
4. Religious institutions with teachers and management who are fully committed to the Sunni ideal and are loyal and respectful to the Muslim religious community and its leaders.
If the teacher is not right, our child will also go the wrong way.
All that glitters is not gold. Think many times before enrolling your child to educational institutions. Consult with our benefactors and organizational workers. May we not have children who question their parents and the religious organisations.
